Activities

In addition to the courses, International House Nice offers a wide range of activities to discover the city of Nice, its region and the local culture, but also to meet new people and have fun!

Sports, cultural activities, Nice nightlife... you are bound to find something right up your street! Here is a summary of our students' favourite activities, which you will probably love too!

Guided tour of Nice

We always organise a guided tour of Old town for our new students. These tours are conducted by teachers or members of our staff who are very knowledgeable about the history of the city and will show you the most interesting places.

This tour usually takes place on the Monday or Wednesday afternoon of your first week and it is a great way to get to know other students. Plus, it's totally free!

Stand up paddleboarding

Stand up paddling is the new craze in water sports. Accessible to most people, stand up paddling is a simplified version of surfing, with a paddle. The basics are quickly learned and will allow you to discover the French Riviera from the sea, in the idyllic setting of the beach of Eze.

Stand up paddle is an activity that combines sport and relaxation and will allow you to spend an unforgettable time. You can book your place directly from this page.

Bar crawl

Discover Nice by night with our bar crawl event! You will visit four of the best bars in the Old town of Nice in groups and accompanied by very friendly guides. Ice-breaking activities and little surprise games to get to know your fellow barcrawlers await you for a fun night!

On top of that, you'll get free shots and discounted drinks. All the ingredients are there for a night you won't soon forget! Book your place directly on this page.

Cooking classes and gourmet tours

It is not possible to stay in France without taking an interest in the local gastronomy. What could be more fun than trying your hand at French cuisine in a cooking class? You can test your cooking skills and have a great time in small groups.

We also offer gastronomic tours where our guide will introduce you to the local culinary culture and allow you to taste some of Nice's specialities. Registration on request at the school reception.

Discover the French Riviera

The Côte d'Azur is an exceptional region with a wealth of world-famous tourist attractions. Cannes, Antibes, Monaco, Menton are all must-see cities. Our school regularly organises excursions to these cities so that you can make the most of your stay.

The Côte d'Azur has beautiful beaches, but also the Alps mountains with ski resorts within an hour's drive of Nice, as well as beautiful places to go hiking. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have about the region and recommend special places, so please do not hesitate to contact the school reception for more information.
