International House Nice is accredited for Bildungsurlaub. We offer French courses specially designed to meet the requirements of this programme. If you are a German employee, you have the incredible opportunity to take advantage of your training leave to enjoy a language stay on the French Riviera and learn or improve your French with our expert teachers.
What is Bildungsurlaub?
Bildungsurlaub is a training leave granted to employees in Germany. It allows them to take up to five working days per year (often cumulative over two years) to attend a recognised training course while continuing to receive their salary.
International House Nice is recognised by the following German states: Berlin, Lower Saxony, Saarland, Rhineland-Palatinate and Hesse. If you are employed in one of these regions, you can obtain funding for your French courses at our school.
Our Bildungsurlaub French course consists of 30 lessons of 45 minutes, including:
- Placement test
- General French lessons in small groups
- Leçons en apprentissage personnalisé
- Tutoring (optional)
- Cultural activities
- Final test and course certificate with CEFR level
Choosing to take your Bildungsurlaub training leave at International House Nice means you are sure to improve your French skills with a qualified team and have your level assessed according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
