The length of the placement, after the 4 weeks of compulsory French courses, varies between 4 to 8 weeks. Contact us for more information.

Some of our students wish to improve their French language and learn more about France by undertaking a work placement in a company on the Côte d’Azur. These unpaid placements appeal to those between the ages of 20 and 30, who want to have some work experience during their stay in Nice.

For the first four weeks it is compulsory that you study French at the school. The Director will then help you find a placement in a company in the region. We have contacts in the following areas :

• press and media
• transport
• hotel and restaurant industry
• department stores etc...

A good intermediate level of French is required because the French are not always patient with foreigners ! The emphasis is placed on the development of linguistic knowledge and on the ability of the trainee to understand the French working world. The aim is not to learn about an occupation nor to advance ones’ professional skills. In general the students work in their choosen field.

At the time of enrolment it is necessary to inform the Director of your choice to undertake a placement.

Therefore, you are required to send us a curriculum vitae and a cover letter, both written in French.

The management reserves the right to cancel a placement if the students’ demands are too difficult to fulfil, if they do not have a sufficient level of French, or if is not possible to find a placement in the desired field. In this case the student is reimbursed

During your placement, you will be a student at the school and a contract will be signed between the school, the placement company, and yourself. All students are advised to take out comprehensive medical insurance, as well as personal liability insurance.
